  • Christie Long

    DVM

Dr. Morgan, a Colorado native, has lived in Fort Collins nineteen years, earning her bachelor's and master's degrees from Colorado State University and graduating in the Class of 2005 at the CSU College of Veterinary Medicine. She has worked in small animal practice in Loveland and Fort Collins for the past 9 years and has cherished every minute of it. Though her primary interest is in preventive care and early detection of diseases, she is proficient in all aspects of general practice: she enjoys the complexity of medicine cases as well as the challenge of surgery. She especially wants her clients to know they are her partners in their animals' health care. She looks forward to working at VCA Fort Collins Animal Hospital where she will be part of a team that values compassionate care and practices exceptional quality medicine and where strong communication is the foundation for nurturing the human-animal bond. Dr. Morgan also achieved certification in veterinary medical acupuncture in the spring of 2014 so this is an additional modality she can use to help manage your pets pain. Dr. Morgan and her husband, Ben, have deep roots in the Fort Collins region and are active in CSU athletic department activities. She enjoys spending time with her young children, Ellie and Will, and they share their life with a lovable old yellow Lab named Abby. She cycles and hikes year-round and loves summer camping trips; she is also passionate about reading and gardening.

  • Jenny Long-Oglesby

    DVM

Dr. Oglesby was born in California. Coming from a military family, she moved around a lot and has lived in California, North Dakota, England, Panama, and finally Colorado. Of all the places she's lived, Panama was her favorite! She went to college and veterinary school at Colorado State University, graduating in 2006, then completed a one-year internship in Los Angeles. Her next 5 years of practice were at VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver before she came to VCA Fort Collins Animal Hospital. Dr. Oglesby lives with her husband, young daughter, Farley (the attention-span deficient terrier mix), 3-legged cats Mali and Hemi, and assorted fish and frogs. She enjoys hiking, snowboarding, snowshoeing, reading, and watching movies. She is particularly interested in internal medicine and exotic animal medicine and loves helping people keep their furry, fuzzy, scaly and leathery kids healthy and happy!

  • Laura Tucker

    DVM

Born and raised in France, Dr. Laura Tucker brings an international flair to our team of doctors. For the last twenty years she has lived and worked in Colorado, and now considers it her home. She studied biology and chemistry in Denver, and obtained the doctor of veterinary medicine degree from Western University in California in 2008. At Western Dr. Tucker was inducted into the prestigious Phi Zeta veterinary honor society. She lives in Loveland with her husband of 18 years, who is a physician in Greeley. They share their home with their sweet and beautiful rats Fiona and Lilly. Before coming to VCA Fort Collins Animal Hospital, Dr. Tucker worked at VCA All Pets Animal Hospital in Boulder. Dr. Tucker is especially interested in feline medicine and surgery. Her passion, however, is rat medicine and surgery. She will see pocket pets such as guinea pigs as well as good-old canines. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, camping, spending time in the mountains, four-wheel driving, and tending to her new vegetable garden.
