Dr. Michael Farrell, D.C.

Dr. Michael Farrell, D.C. brings his specialties of disc decompression, scoliosis reduction, and the Pettibon technique to the Spine Correction Center team. He has received advanced training in scoliosis treatment through the CLEAR Institute where he has held a position on the board of advisors since 2009. He is proud to represent a leading group of doctors capable of significantly reducing scoliotic curvatures. Dr. Farrell treats a diverse patient base from around the world, most of whom travel to Northern Colorado specifically for SCC’s intense two to four week treatment programs. Dr. Farrell traveled to places in India, South America, and South Africa to practice and expand his natural health care skills. He also completed an internship at the first clinic in Colorado to offer Spinal Decompression, under the direction of the Colorado Sports Chiropractor of the year. Dr. Farrell stays on the leading edge of physical medicine through extensive training seminars in rehabilitation programs, including the Pettibon technique. He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree at the Palmer College of Chiropractic.

Dr. April Cardwell, D.C.

Dr. Cardwell specializes in scoliosis reduction, disc disorders of the spine, as well as the Pettibon System of spinal rehabilitation. She has completed advanced training in scoliosis through the CLEAR institute, of which she has received CLEAR certification. Dr. Cardwell welcomes all age groups and takes pleasure educating others. Dr. Cardwell grew up surrounded by the medical field and knew there had to be a way to combine the natural healthcare with physical medicine for better patient care. She believed there was a growing need for natural healthcare alternatives and set off to pursue her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic. Dr. Cardwell is a member of the CLEAR Institute and the Colorado Chiropractic Association. Dr. Cardwell continually updates her training through extensive training seminars in rehabilitation programs, including the CLEAR Institute, the Pettibon System, and Sole Supports. She earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree at the Palmer College of Chiropractic.

Dr. Tamara Johnson, MD

Tamara Johnson, MD is a family doctor and supervisor to the Medical and Rehab departments at Spine Correction Center of the Rockies. Dr Johnson is pleased to be a part of a cutting edge clinic like Spine Correction Center of the Rockies and continues to look for new ways to help people with chronic pain, especially musculoskeletal conditions. In addition to her work with SCC, Dr. Johnson is the Medical Director for Region 2/Heartland Counseling and Consulting Clinics. Heartland is based in North Platte, NE and has 3 satellite clinics, which keep her busy. Dr. Johnson graduated from University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1984, where she began her residency and eventually went into Family Practice in Cambridge, NE in 1986. In 2003 Dr. Johnson took the position of Medical Director with Heartland. Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with her family, music, and golf.
